About

I am an Advocate from Mumbai, India.

I handle litigation before courts and tribunals in Mumbai and New Delhi, as well as across India.  I engage in a full-service litigation and advisory practice, which includes matters like commercial, property, and employment disputes, as well as criminal defence. I also maintain a keen interest in constitutional law and human rights law. I actively undertake pro-bono cases.

I hold an undergraduate degree in Mass Media (specialising in Journalism), as well as an undergraduate degree in Law. After a short stint in journalism, I joined the Chambers of Ms. Indira Jaising, Senior Advocate as a Research Associate and worked with her on numerous cases before the Supreme Court of India and various High Courts across the country. During this time, I also worked closely with Mr. Anand Grover, Senior Advocate.

I then joined the Chambers of Ms. Gayatri Singh, Senior Advocate. With her, I handle litigation before the High Court of Bombay and the Supreme Court of India. I am also the Founder of Fraternity Law, which is a leading full-service law firm in India, with offices in Mumbai and New Delhi.

Apart from my legal practice, I also write about the law and public affairs. My views have been published in various outlets including The Indian Express, National Herald, Mumbai Mirror, Live Law, Bar&Bench, The Leaflet, NewsClick, Moneylife India, and Indian Cultural Forum.
